Calrec Audio demo days at Amptec
21-08-2015Amptec has recently been appointed the Benelux distributor for Calrec Audio consoles.
Based in Yorkshire UK, Calrec has been active in the audio industry since the Seventies.
In the evolution of digital audio consoles Calrec has been at the forefront of technology.
The introduction of their Bluefin technology in 2007 marked a world first use of FPGA-based DSP.
Today Calrec and DiGiCo are part of the Audiotonix group of British console companies.

We already can see operational advantages today, like e.g. using a Calrec in an OB-van, combined with a DiGiCo as FOH in the venue.
