Amptec ntwrx as an On-Site Streaming Partner
17-02-2025In 2022, the Flemish government sought partners to develop an innovative, interactive video streaming experience for events. The Omnioculars project was created to deliver a scalable solution that provides visitors with a personalized experience while being easily adaptable to various events. As part of this initiative, THEO Technologies selected Amptec ntwrx as its network partner. The system was successfully deployed during the EuroNASCAR Finals at Circuit Zolder.
A Redundant and Secure Network
Using a specially developed app, visitors could watch and follow their favorite participants live on their smartphones, choosing from multiple camera angles. The app also provided real-time race data and intermediate rankings for an enhanced viewing experience.
From the central control room, all incoming signals were managed and distributed. To ensure seamless operation, we designed and configured a redundant network, implemented network security, and provided on-site support. Additionally, we virtualised the app’s firewall and servers to maximise flexibility and scalability.
Following a successful test phase, the system is now ready for broader deployment across a range of events.
