5 years of Amptec and d&b in the BeNeLux
19-09-2024Amptec and d&b celebrate 5 years of distribution in the BeNeLux! Although our collaboration goes way back: we have been distributing the brand for Belgium since 1999. Since the Netherlands has been added to the agreement, more and more venues are choosing d&b.
More than distribution
Amptec has in-house experts for consultancy, design, training and installation. In some projects, we also take on full project management.
For the brand-new Amare in The Hague, we installed no less than 4 d&b sound systems, just like in De Doelen in Rotterdam. And for Wilminktheater in Enschede, we designed and installed the very first d&b XSL system in our region.
In music centre De Bijloke in Ghent, a former 13th-century hospital, we provided a brand new d&b system in the main hall, then integrated a Soundscape system in small hall ‘Het Kraakhuis’.
Satisfied customers return. Like CCHA in Hasselt: after installing Europe's very first Soundscape system in the cultural centre, the large hall now also has an immersive-ready system.
And that's just a small selection of the installations completed! Other satisfied customers can be found in our projects. Sound systems for events also pass through our warehouse. The d&b systems featured at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Rock Werchter, Gentse Feesten and Mysteryland were supplied by Amptec to production companies.
Looking forward
The trust, respect and shared drive for absolute top quality in the audiovisual sector result in great projects as well as a sustainable interaction. For example, d&b engaged us to manage an Immersive Experience project in Berlin through our fascination and dedication to Soundscape. A collaboration that definitely has music in it!
