d&b introduces the compact 5D amplifier
10-05-2022d&b audiotechnik introduces the 5D installation amplifier, making high-quality sound systems available to a broader range of installations. All within an ultra-compact design, the 5D is a four channel DSP amplifier featuring integrated audio networking and flexible output power sharing.
The new amplifier features a 1 RU 9.5 inch footprint, the perfect size to drive smaller loudspeakers, allowing d&b to serve a greater number of installations. Its compact 4-channel design means the 5D is particularly convenient for the set-up and deployment of small Soundscape systems.
The 5D is the first d&b amplifier with integrated Dante networking, allowing for flexible system configuration and convenient deployment of decentralized system designs, ensuring that a d&b system will provide the scalability, flexibility and reliability needed for today’s installations.
