Pro Tools HD will be renamed Pro Tools Ultimate
17-04-2018The new version of Pro Tools, Pro Tools 2018.4, introduces the rebranding of Pro Tools | HD to Pro Tools | Ultimate*, additional add-ons included with Pro Tools | Ultimate, as well as several stability improvements.
“First” products are FREE for aspiring pros and entry level users, middle tier products represent the standard offering within the product family, and “Ultimate” denotes the most advanced and comprehensive software for individual professionals and creative teams.
Pro Tools | HD will be renamed Pro Tools | Ultimate. Pro Tools | Ultimate will include access to the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle and Pro Tools | MachineControl
* Note that ‘Ultimate’ rebranding only applies to Pro Tools software, not to hardware.
