d&b audiotechnik expands Milan-AVB portfolio
29-01-2026d&b audiotechnik has unveiled four new Milan-AVB products, strengthening its commitment to open standards, deterministic performance and seamless system integration. The new lineup – DS22 Audio Network Bridge, DS1 USB Milan Interface, 5DM Milan amplifier and DN2 AVB switch – enables robust, plug-and-play audio networks for touring, installation and immersive applications.
Built on the Milan-AVB standard, the new products deliver guaranteed interoperability, ultra-low latency and automatic bandwidth management, allowing users to focus on sound rather than network configuration.
- DS22 Audio Network Bridge: 16 × AES3 inputs (4 switchable to analogue), integrated 5-port Milan switch, 1RU
- DS1 USB Milan Interface: direct playback/recording for Mac & PC, dual network ports for redundancy, Milan Manager support
- 5DM Milan amplifier: 4-channel Class D, loudspeaker-specific DSP, 2 × 8-channel Milan streams, 4 analogue inputs
- DN2 AVB switch: 8 × PoE++ ports (up to 90 W each), single-cable operation for networked U-Series loudspeakers, R1 integration
The new Milan-enabled products will be available in Q1 2026 and will be showcased at NAMM 2026 and ISE 2026.
