Workshop network switches in an audio network09-01-2018
Due to overwhelming interest, we are adding a second date for this workshop on Tuesday January 9th.
How does the network switch play a crucial role in your audio network ?
This workshop will look at the different components in the network. Which protocols are used in our industry and how they stream their media. Dante, AES67 and AVB fundamentals will be highlighted.
In the course of this workshop several questions will be answered, such as :
- Which topologies can be used to build a redundant audio network ?
- What is IGMP snooping, QoS (Quality of Service) and PTP v2 (IEEE 1588) ?
- How does a switch need to handle this ?
- And how can a switch optimize and stabilize your audio network ?
With Luminex GigaCore switches we show you how to connect all your AoIP equipment in a confident way without IT knowledge.
Bart Swinnen from Luminex Network Intelligence will lead this workshop.
This seminar is suitable for all levels of experience.
