Mixing Workshop, Staf Verbeeck (Jet Studio / AB)
Experienced mixing engineer and producer “Staf Verbeeck” (Jet Studio’s, Ancienne Belgique Studio and live gig sound engineer) will demonstrate how he builds up a mix in a studio. He will use a 32 track recorded protools project from one of his clients, and use all his regular outboard gear and software effects. Mixing is done on a Digidesign D-command controller, and monitoring on two sets of monitor speakers.

A number of setups will be available for listening under supervision of Coen Thomas, professional sound engineer for André Rieu studio’s amongst others. You will be able to listen to different microphones as well, so in this workshop you will be able to form a clear picture of what effect different microphones and placing can have on your recording.
