DirectOut unveils ACE compact audio platform
19-05-2026DirectOut has launched ACE, a compact multifunctional audio platform designed for touring, live sound, and broadcast workflows that need high-end processing in a portable format. Built on the same FPGA architecture as the PRODIGY and MAVEN series, ACE delivers flagship-level processing in a backpack-sized unit that combines playback, routing, and system processing.
ACE is built around a workflow-driven concept called ACE MODES, which switches the interface depending on the task—such as playback or PA operation—allowing faster setup and simpler system control in complex live environments. It also provides full routing flexibility, letting engineers distribute signals freely across systems, along with integrated handling of analog and digital inputs.
The platform supports DirectOut’s EARS and BLDS technologies for automatic redundancy and seamless switchover in critical applications.
