API debuted their latest 500 series module, the 529 Stereo Compressor, at the NAMM Show. Based on the unprecedented success of the 2500, the 529 takes many of the features and controls from API‘s famous stereo compressor and puts them into the first dual slot 500 series module from API.

Avid have announced the next Pro Tools Upgrade at NAMM show 2018. The new version, Pro Tools 2018, represents not only a software update, but an overhaul of the Pro Tools versioning scheme. This new naming will apply to Sibelius and Media Composer as well. In addition to the new naming scheme, this release adds new features that help music creators jumpstart their creativity, stay in their flow, and finish projects with speed and efficiency. It will be available to new customers, current subscribers, and users with an active upgrade plan.
