NOVA goes immersive
02-09-2026Trinnov is bringing immersive monitoring to NOVA with its latest software release. NOVA can now optimize immersive monitoring systems up to 7.1.4 / 12 channels via Dante. A NOVA with 8 licensed Optimizer channels automatically unlocks up to 12 optimized channels in Immersive mode, with no additional cost per channel.
The upgrade path is simple:
NOVA 2 → NOVA 4 → NOVA 6 → NOVA 8 / 12 channels in Immersive mode
Immersive mode supports Dante inputs, configurations up to 7.1.4 and sample rates up to 48 kHz. NOVA does not decode Dolby Atmos; it optimizes the discrete channels received from a renderer or DAW.
The update also increases standard monitoring from 6 to 8 optimized channels, alongside improvements to Dante and clock management, Bass Management, power control, calibration graphs, Target Curve editing and overall system performance.
For existing NOVA customers, the new release offers a particularly attractive upgrade path. A NOVA 6 can become a complete 7.1.4 monitoring solution with just one additional OPT2-NOVA.
